In the year of flood-95, the story took place. The true victim was narrating his experiences in the national TV media.
The man was running towards the safe zone because the hurricane, with hot water and very high speed, was rushing towards them from Bay of Bengal. They could not reach to the safe zone. The waters caught them enroute. Thinking immediate sanctuary, he claimed up the big banian tree with his two small kids, Faria , the daughter and Parvez Zaman, the son. The man was holding his two kids very tightly so that none go missing. But the current of the water was so high that his hands were unable to hold two kids together anymore or otherwise his life was in danger. Now time has come to decide to surrender one minimum to survive marginally. The man could not decide any thing. What should he do? He can not surrender anyone! At the moment of “no time left” things happened automatically. The man survived. His one kid is also alive. And the kid is Parvez Zaman, the son. Naturally the daughter was sacrificed. What he could do? He could do so many things but he could not do anything. I do not say any thing right now sitting in a comfortable situation what I will do then, but what the man did it might happen to me too. Luck only can decide their fate, my daughter or my son. Only God knows.
